Bodega VMD is a winery and label from Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, Mexico. With a unique location the winery focuses on the development of a fresh and natural wine through an equally unique process using clay casks for storage and aging rather than wooden barrels. Using a clean and flexible system that seeks to embrace different illustration styles, each wine tells its story with a unique image inspired by its personality.

Bodega VMD’s first edition tells the story of dragons as an ode to the Mondragon family, creators of the winery. Each dragon is shaped after its style or wine blend, with characteristics that allude to the bottle's contents. The dragon Hraun represents a blend of Cabernet Suavignon and Merlot, a colourful spiced experience reminiscent of Mexican culture. Drekis, on the other hand is a peachy suavignon blanc with a refreshing taste and Poka a dark and robust nebbiolo of european influence. The result is unpredictable, dynamic and bold full of expression that is combined with a mostly monochromatic visual system alluding to the industries sophistication, heritage and craftsmanship.
