Orbit embodies our vision for playful, modern lighting through simplicity and interaction. Made of rotating discs along a slim central core, the lamp allows users to reconfigure its shape and light pattern. Crafted from recycled 3D-printed PLA and responsibly sourced wood, it merges sustainability with creativity. Its modular design enables color and material combinations, while a rechargeable USB-C battery ensures portability and ease of use transforming light into a tactile, ever-changing experience.

Created to rethink how home lighting can adapt and engage, Orbit transforms a static object into an interactive one. The task was to design a simple, accessible, and sustainable lamp that encourages play while fitting diverse interiors and taking advantage of increasingly accesible technologies and more sustainable materials. Each disc can be rearranged to modify form and light, giving users creative control, promoting exploration and creativity. Through its minimalist geometry, wireless autonomy, and approachable materials, Orbit makes everyday illumination personal, dynamic, and joyful, bridging design and interaction.
