Its identity celebrates this flavorful mix through a bold, art-deco-inspired system combining Miami’s tropical vibrancy with Mexican warmth. Bright palettes, playful illustrations, and lively typography convey joy, flavor, and inclusivity, transforming candy into a bridge between cultures and a celebration of color, taste, and shared fun.
Tasked with creating a brand that unites Mexican spice and American candy, Chillin was designed to communicate flavor, joy, and cultural connection. Aimed at young adults seeking bold, savory fun, the brand blends Miami’s upbeat spirit with Mexican motifs to reflect its founder’s dual heritage. Its design expresses the product’s fusion through color, messaging, and illustration, turning the candy into a flavorful metaphor for unity, modern identity, and cultural pride that feels vibrant, authentic, and inclusive.
Chillin’s design draws on the lively energy of Miami and the rich heritage of Mexico. A palette of pinks, blues and turquoise channels Miami’s art deco architecture, while spicy reds and terracotta tones evoke Mexican warmth. Hand-drawn illustrations merge flamingos with charros, dolphins with pyramids, and candies with sunbursts, symbolizing its hybrid recipe. Bold typography ensures clarity and charm, while colonial inspired shapes frame information and act as stickers and seals, creating a dynamic, flavorful aesthetic.
